ROUTE 8 - SOUTH (From Waterbury - 20 min)
- To Exit 17, stay to left of ramp to light
- Bear right onto Atwater Ave. (See Veteran's Memorial to your left)
- At next intersection take right onto Division St.
- Go down hill and straight through light at bottom of hill
- Go to next light (Taco Bell on your left), take a left onto No. Division St.
- Go past entry to shopping plaza, then take next left (Hershey Dr.).
- HMP is on the right corner. Visitor parking to the right.
I-95 / ROUTE 8 - NORTH (From Bridgeport - 20 min/Fairfield/NYC - 1:45 hrs)
- I-95 North to Exit 27A (Route 8 North)
- To Exit 16 (Pershing Dr.)
- At 2nd light (1/4 mi) take a right onto Division St.
- Go to next light (Taco Bell on your left), take a left onto No. Division St.
- Go past entry to shopping plaza, then take next left (Hershey Dr.)
- HMP is on the right corner. Visitor parking to the right.
I-95 SOUTH / ROUTE 34 WEST (From New Haven - 30 min)
- I-95 South to Exit 47 (Route 34, Downtown New Haven)
- Stay on Rt. 34 through New Haven, West Haven, Orange and Derby
- At light where Rt. 34 intersects with Route 8, go straight onto Derby Ave. (Route 115)
- Go 1 mile to next light and take left onto Division St.
- Proceed over bridge to light and take a right onto North Division St.
- Go past entry to shopping plaza, then take next left (Hershey Dr.)
- HMP is on the right corner. Visitor parking to the right.
ROUTE 15 SOUTH /WILBUR CROSS PARKWAY
- To Exit 58 (Rt. 34 West to Derby)
- Follow directions above for Rt. 34 West from New Haven.
ROUTE 15 (MERRITT) NORTH (From Fairfield / NY)
- To Exit 52 (Route 8 North)
- Follow above directions above for I-95/Route 8 - North
I-91 SOUTH / I-84 WEST (from Bradley Airport - 1:15 hrs/Hartford - 50 min)
- I-91 to I-84 West
- Follow I-84 to Exit 19 (Route 8 South)
- Follow above directions above for Route 8 - South
ROUTE 84 EAST (from Danbury - 50 min)
- To Exit 11 (Route 34 East)
- Follow Rt. 34 through Sandy Hook, Oxford (Over Stevenson Dam), Seymour and Derby
- Go through down-town Derby and get onto Rt. 8 North
- Follow directions above from I-95/Route 8 - North. Note: Exit 16 on Rt. 8 is the first Exit you come to.
